Web

I got into making websites in high school, forgot about it for a while, then picked it back up after college. Coding has always fulfilled what I believe to be a near-primal impulse to build stuff. Over the past 5 years I’ve designed a developed dozens of websites, large and small, for non-profits and small businesses. I work predominantly with WordPress, due to it’s flexibility, ease-of-use and cost (zero dollars).

I’ve also made a number of attempts at translating my graphic tastes and aesthetic into code.

Founded by lawyer Kiffanie Stahle, the artist’s J.D. provides legal advice and resources for creative professionals and independent business owners.

Wanting to expand and monetize her business, Kiffanie expressed a need to serve high functioning blog content, video courseware, and digital downloads. The site also had to be highly scalable with the ability to add more functionality as new needs arose.

Wedding 2016

I produced a website, invitation and logo for my own wedding in late 2015. My fiancĂ©, Leslie, and I wanted to focus our energies on communicating event information while cutting down on excess paper and steps. Before providing an RSVP form, we had a dynamic “chat room” for guests to post their well wishes and crack wise.

Meighan O’Toole

Friend and digital strategist, Meighan O’Toole, needed a fresh web presence for her rapidly growing brand. Not only was she regularly posting highly trafficked blog content, but also providing a platform for her podcast, What’s Your Story?.

Meighan being the power-creator that she is, we required a platform that was easy to scale and hard to break. Meighan also used many third-party social media, podcasting and analytics tools, all of which we had to integrate without creating any conflicts.
