Typical Dan – redesigning his website only 6 or so months since the last one.
Although there were a lot of things I liked about the last iteration of this site, there were some hanging issues that bugged me. In the end I decided to go ahead and start over because I missed having a more traditional portfolio site. I’ve always found it difficult to juggle personal work and professional work – not in practice, but in reflection. I guess I’m still hanging onto the hope that I’ll be paid for what I love.
What do I love? Coding, illustration, type; lots of things. Versatility is a good thing, but it’s a bitch to market. I’ve always tried to make this web presence organic – in the sense that I want it to be a lightly curated reflection of what I’m working on at the time being. Each time it hits a little closer to what I want. So here we go again.
